Markers

  • Markers have arrived. Press M at the playhead to add a marker, then give it a name. All markers export cleanly to Final Cut Pro.
  • Markers now appear on the scrub bar for quick visual reference across tabs and projects.
  • Added Jump to Marker to each marker’s menu to snap playback to that exact timeline position.

Transcription

  • Select multiple projects at once to trigger bulk transcription ⌘A and deselect with ⌘⇧A.
  • Individual projects can also be transcribed directly from their context menu.
  • Fixed text wrapping in edit mode when a word is longer than the one before it.
  • The cursor now hides during transcription edits to reduce distraction, then reappears when you finish.
  • Added Jump to Word to each word’s menu to snap playback to that exact point.
  • Copy Transcription now copies the active edited text rather than the raw baseline transcription.

Export

  • Fixed an issue where Final Cut Pro exports could incorrectly attach stale media. This rare case occurred when re-importing Sequence-generated normalized audio back into the app, which then mistakenly bundled the original media into the audio project on export.

Player

  • Disabled words in audio projects are now properly excluded from exports.

Speed, Stability & General Fixes

  • Fixed edge cases and improved internal consistency.
  • Project deletion is now faster.
  • Improved startup behavior.
  • Operations are now queued to support large edits made in quick succession.
  • Improved tab bar layout when content overflows.
  • Old model manifests are now cleared on fresh downloads to ensure Sequence pulls the latest updates.
  • Fixed an issue where library items failed to appear on first open.
  • Bulk import progress bar now matches other Sequence UI components.
  • Search view closes more reliably after loading a project.
