The First Supported Sequence CLI Release

The first supported Sequence CLI release brings Terminal workflows to Sequence 1.3.4.

Transcription and Media

  • Transcribe locally with Parakeet, including batch processing and transcript or subtitle exports.
  • Inspect media and calculate file hashes without opening an editing workspace.
  • Use structured JSON and progress output in scripts and automation.

App Integration

  • Added local and app-scoped command namespaces, with broker connectivity for supported app operations.
  • Inspect projects, query transcript ranges, and run database diagnostics.
  • Added shell completions for finding commands and options.

Requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later. App-backed commands follow Sequence’s sign-in, activation, and app-lock requirements.

See the CLI guide and published cli-v1.0.4 release.

Find the Story. Build the Rough Cut. Keep Creating.

Try the complete workflow on your own footage and see how quickly a long recording becomes a clear episode, clean version, and social cuts.
