Activate Sequence & Manage Account

Sign in from the app

Sequence supports signing in with Apple, Google, or email magic link. If you use email, Sequence sends a sign-in link to that address so you can activate the device without creating a separate password.

Activation

When you first log in, Sequence checks whether your account has an active license or trial. From there you can start a trial, purchase a license, restore access for an account that already purchased online, or continue into the app when your license is valid.

What a license unlocks

A valid license unlocks the full workflow: on-device AI transcription, BS.1770-4 audio normalization, global keyword search, cleanup tools for silence/filler/profanity, and Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve export.

Offline access

Sequence allows offline use for up to a week after a successful license validation. After that, you’ll need to reconnect to the internet so the app can revalidate your license. Usually this only requires restoring your connection; if validation fails you may be asked to sign in again.

Trials and expired access

To begin a trial, simply download the app and login, you’ll then be promoted to start your trial (check the website for the current trial length). Once your trial expires, you need to purchase a license to keep using Sequence.

Signing out

You can sign out from Settings → Account. Your local data will remain intact incase you log in with a valid license again.
