Keyboard Shortcuts

Settings includes a Keyboard section for viewing/editing shortcuts such as import media, new catalog, playback, seek, shuttle, marker creation, export, pane toggles, undo, redo, transcript movement, and find next or previous.

If you’d like more shortcuts added, then do reach out to us, we’ve added many shortcuts from user requests since we’ve launched.

General

If you’d like to be notified when a long running task is complete, then turn on system notifications, which is very helpful on videos longer than an hour.

We do provide quick access links to the database storage location (which is encrypted, and only accessible via Sequence) and cache locations, which you can clear, but do be aware that general behavior of the app will be less fluid after a fresh cache is built.

Privacy

You can manage how Sequence handles your data, this is for product analytics, error reporting and marketing updates, during your onboarding for the first time you will be asked how you’d like to process, if you can change your mind you can adjust this in the Settings.
