Organize Projects with Catalogs and Variants

Catalogs

Catalogs are used to group projects. You can move projects between catalogs, by right clicking on a project in the library pane and press “Move to Catalog”, selecting an existing or create a new one.

Anytime you delete a catalog that has media, your projects will be moved to ‘Unassigned’ - think of this catalog as your un-sorted dump. This catalog cannot be removed, but any you create can be deleted or renamed.

Variants

Project variants give you the ability to work on an alternative version from the same media.

Your playback position is remembered as you switch between tabs.

Each variant can reference it’s own normalized audio, external audio, profanity filters, filler word filters and transcription edits.

You can see what you’ve actioned for each variant by visiting the History pane.
